The Manila San Sebasti\u00e1n boutique is celebrating, as it has just inaugurated a new space dedicated to men’s fashion at its concept store on Calle Hernani. This new section, measuring 150 m2<\/sup>, has been named S\u00f3tano and it is a place where fashionistas can find niche clothing and accessories made by local, national, and international brands.<\/p>\n

T-shirts by Loreak Mendian, sweatshirts by Barrow, designs by Samsoe Samsoe, overshirts by Homecore, shirts by A Paper Kid, eyewear by Chimi, pants by 1314 and Haikure, swimwear by Cabrio, printed shirts by Oas, essential collections by Yohji Yamamoto for Adidas Y-3, unique garments by Les Deux, jewelry by Two Jeys, down jackets by Add, and espadrilles by Wataru. The brands that Manila San Sebasti\u00e1n represents are already top-notch in and of themselves, but the shop always focuses on these brands’ superior ranges, limited editions, and hard-to-find accessories, making the items sold even more special.<\/p>\n

Sneakers deserve special mention as there is a wide selection thereof and some of the models are in high demand: New Balance sneakers, Salomon collector’s pieces, customized Nikes, and exclusive models by Y-3 and Mikakus Barcelona, a brand of sneakers founded by footballer Andr\u00e9s Iniesta.<\/p>\n

S\u00f3tano is like a candy shop for lovers of urban attire, as well as for anyone creative and interested in the latest trends. Here, clothing and accessories coexist with items on display like the famous Big Red Boots (or Astro Boots) from the MSCHF Art Collective, a vintage arcade machine with more than 3,000 games, troll dolls from The Lord of the Rings, Tintin rockets and animal masks (these masks were used by the models of the last Manila San Sebasti\u00e1n fashion show, which was held at the San Telmo Museum as part of the Gipuzkoa de Moda<\/em> Fashion Festival, only to later be auctioned off to raise funds for an association protecting greyhounds).<\/p>\n

S\u00f3tano shares the same extroverted, creative, and carefree spirit as the women’s section of the boutique, where designer pieces by Patricia Urquiola, decorative objects by Vitra, and creations by local artists such as Miguel Balliache and Patxi Zapirain are displayed, along with an exquisite collection of clothing with a new silhouette featuring volumes and symmetries that manage to bring out the best in every body type.<\/p>\n
