Iturralde\u2019s words describe Goiburu as a painter quite well, as in her work the female figure, environments (landscapes, settings, dreams), and abstraction take on relevance. Her aim is to depict the woman in the most characteristic and poetic forms of her nature, as a maker and life-giver. Through the images represented, she transports viewers to deep introspection of their memory, until they connect with the woman of all ages, with the timelessness of her essence, to be in harmony with Mother Earth. Her art also invites the viewer to delve into scenarios beyond the here and now. The interpretation of its basis and ideology likewise comes round through abstraction; insinuating, through shapes and colors, deep values.<\/p>\n
Her paintings have been present at individual and collective exhibitions and at contemporary art fairs in the UK, France, Sweden, the USA, Canada, and Japan \u2013 amongst others. However, the artist\u2019s talent is not limited to painting, as she is much more multidisciplinary: for 20 years, she has tackled her exhibitions\u2019 themes through performances in which she experiments with her own self \u2013 performances that she carries out without rehearsals in a live show that allows her to fully engage in communication with the spectators.<\/p>\n
