There are many couples who wish to get married in the city hall or the church of their city yet, at the same time, enjoy their wedding reception in the midst of nature. This is common in Biarritz and San Sebastian, and there exists an exceptional country estate near both places that, additionally, surprises all those who visit it: Machoen\u00efa. This eighteenth-century farmhouse is located in Urrugne, just 20 kilometers from both cities. Surrounded by lush, green meadows with grazing horses, events of up to 350 guests can be held at Machoen\u00efa. Smaller events, of up to 170 people, take place in the interior of the building, while weddings attended by more people have their space in a large canopy tent installed for the occasion on the outdoor terrace. The old stables, which have been completely renovated, are today the main place for receiving guests.<\/p>\n
