Created by Iñigo Iriarte, this concept store that specializes in decoration and interior design recreates atmospheres in which time seems to stand still and ideas emerge from the past to be projected into the future. Veluto is eclecticism turned distinction in which simplicity and luxury, the everyday and the exclusive, combine harmoniously to help facilitate the design of unique and unusual settings.
The shop, which can also be rented for events, is divided over two floors and has different areas where antique pieces, furniture, designer kitchens, lamps, limited edition books, niche perfumes, works of art, decorative items, candles, and tableware are all on display – among other items. These are all products aimed at cosmopolitan individuals looking for something that goes beyond the usual market proposals.
Apart from being a shop, Veluto is an interior design studio where Iriarte works his magic to transform the lives of his clients, creating quality environments that are full of spirit and eclectic environments that exude harmony, essence, and personality – generating, ultimately, beauty. The homes and workplaces designed by this creative director are completely innovative and, during the design phase, he collaborates with leading firms like Bang & Olufsen for audiovisual systems, Wood Skin for complex paneling, Ceadesign for bathroom fixtures, and Locherber Milano for home fragrances. He also works with different national and international artists.
