With more than three decades of history and two boutiques in the Basque Country (in Bilbao and San Sebastián), Uecko has positioned itself as a leader in luxury furniture design, recognized for its excellence, customization, and craftsmanship. Each Uecko creation reflects a deep respect for materials and an unwavering commitment to quality. This was evident at the latest edition of Feria Hábitat València, where the brand officially presented the Stelo collection, a collaboration with prestigious designer Francesc Rifé, representing a new stage for the firm: more essential, more architectural, more attuned to the silence of materials.
Stelo was born from a reflection on order and proportion. Its name comes from the Italian stelo, meaning “stem”: a natural vertical structure that evokes lightness, balance, and growth. From this single, understated line, the system emerges — defining the space with quiet elegance. For Francesc Rifé, this collaboration has meant “bringing wood into a very volumetric architecture, into the world of order.” In this sense, Stelo is more than just a series of pieces: it is a system that accompanies the space, defines it, and completes it without breaking its harmony.
The collection is structured around vertical elements that create a constant visual rhythm. It provides balance, restraint, and freedom of composition through multiple configuration possibilities: from wardrobes, dressing areas, headboards, and vanities to benches and desks that can either be integrated together or function as independent pieces.
The language of Stelo is restrained, sensorial, and profoundly architectural. Its materials —natural oak, matte lacquer in dark green, frosted glass, and natural leather— establish a tangible presence that connects with the atmosphere of the space: seamless surfaces, minimal profiles, warm light, and generous proportions. Designed to integrate into homes where architecture is conceived in detail, Stelo does not occupy — it organizes; it does not stand out — it accompanies. A project that demonstrates Uecko’s commitment to signature design, absolute customization, and contemporary craftsmanship as defining elements of its brand identity.
