The elegant and refined architecture is the first thing that calls customers’ attention when they venture inside Montiel, the most important jewelry shop of Navarre: modern geometric shapes and fine materials which allude to the jeweler’s creativity and the products’ quality at this boutique which specializes in luxury watchmaking and fine jewelry.
Montiel is the only licensed dealer in Navarre for watches by the brands Patek Philippe, Omega, Hublot, Buccellati, and Nomos. Patek Philippe is the last independent manufacturer in Geneva that remains in a single family. Ever faithful to its values of independence, tradition, innovation, quality, perfection, distinction, uniqueness, value (and value appreciation), excitement, aesthetics, service, and legacy, the company continues to be committed to the traditional Genevan art of watchmaking. Omega was the brand chosen by the first astronauts for their missions to the Moon. The Hublot watch case, with its porthole shape and its one-of-a-kind strap in natural black rubber, is a worldwide icon of watchmaking. The German brand Nomos Glashütte, which has received numerous design awards –including the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève– is one of the few manufacturers left in the world.
In addition to its exquisite selection of watches and its collection of jewelry crafted in its workshop (designed and presented by Montiel yearly), this establishment is also the only official representative of some of the world’s most renowned jewelry maisons: Buccellati, Vhernier, Pomellato, Mikimoto, and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Buccellati, a leader in fine jewelry since the beginning of the last century whose pieces enjoy such prestige that they have been on display in major museums; Vhernier, a Milan jeweler that draws its inspiration for its original collections from the shapes and colors of contemporary art; Pomellato, the Italian fine prêt-à-porter jewelry brand; the Japanese Mikimoto, the first to introduce pearls in fine jewelry; and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, known for its innovative designs that allow clients to create and modify the jewelry to their taste.
Thanks to its good work in terms of maintaining the high standards demanded by the firms that it represents, Montiel is able to get for its customers, who come from all over the world, watches and pieces of jewelry that are difficult to find in other European boutiques. Thus, the boutique has become, since 1963, the best interlocutor between the most important luxury maisons and major collectors.
