Suarez: The Jewelry Firm is Embarking Upon a New Chapter with the Renovation of its San Sebastián Boutique
Suarez has just reopened its San Sebastián boutique after an expansion and renovation project that marks a new chapter for the firm in the city. Located at number 23 on Avenida de la Libertad, the store now features a larger, more contemporary and sophisticated space designed to offer a more complete experience revolving around jewelry and watches.
Present in San Sebastián since 2022, the Bilbao-based jewelry house is using this project to strengthen its ties with the city. It includes the retail space next to the original boutique, creating a more fluid layout and expanding the area dedicated to showcasing the firm’s collections. The new layout also gives a prominent place to watchmaking, with two corners specifically dedicated to Breguet and Omega.
The interior design maintains the concept developed by Bruno Moinard for the Suarez spaces and translates the house’s signature elements into a contemporary, warm, and sophisticated language. Materials, textures, and light create a serene environment designed to complement the pieces without competing with them. Among the newly incorporated elements is a white-toned carpet with subtle gray flecks, also present in the Serrano 42 boutique in Madrid, which brings in brightness and reinforces the sense of spaciousness. The combination of raffia, velvet, and silks tops off an atmosphere in which elegance, warmth, and attention to detail coexist, highlighting both the jewelry creations and the watches.
Beyond the architectural transformation, this reopening reflects Suarez’s evolution towards a more complete and personalized customer relationship. Through this space, the brand reaffirms its presence in San Sebastián and its way of understanding luxury: excellence, timeless elegance, and attention to detail in an environment designed to make every visit an invitation to step into the firm’s unique universe.
