With 42 rooms, a bucolic French-inspired garden, a terrace overlooking the sea, spa & wellness facilities, a gym, an outdoor infinity pool, and event halls, the hotel combines contemporary design, natural light, and fine materials that inspire serenity. From its large windows, the view of the Cantabrian Sea seems to unfold endlessly, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the moment.
The experiential essence of the hotel is enhanced by culinary offerings by Basque Chef Iñigo Lavado — from breakfasts prepared with local and seasonal ingredients to the intimate and elegant bar, perfect for enjoying a carefully curated selection of wines and aperitifs. As night falls, the bistrot reveals a renewed Basque cuisine, deeply connected to the region and designed for uncomplicated enjoyment. After more than twenty years leading the restaurant bearing his name in Irun, Iñigo Lavado has brought his project to Luze Boutique San Sebastián, where he begins a new chapter with the Itzuli restaurant.
Itzuli —which means “to return” in Basque— is a family-style restaurant awarded one Michelin star, open daily at midday and offering a meticulously crafted gastronomic experience that blends tradition and innovation. Grounded in seasonal ingredients, local roots, and refined technique, its signature cuisine is meant to be savored slowly in a setting that combines elegance, warmth, and a relaxed, timeless atmosphere. An integrated wine cellar strengthens the connection between kitchen and vineyard, making wine an essential part of the experience.
