WHO IS IN CHARGE OF BASQUE LUXURY CONCIERGE?
Edurne Mayoz is passionate about tourism and has a deep connection with the Basque Country and her beautiful hometown, San Sebastián. In addition to holding an undergraduate degree in Tourism from the University of Deusto in San Sebastián and pursuing a postgraduate degree in Hotel Management in Montreux (Switzerland), she has extensive knowledge of the region and its countless places of interest.
Her first contact with private concierge services was in New York, where she did her professional internship with Quintessentially. Later, after working for several years at the Le Royal Monceau five-star luxury hotel of Paris, Edurne returned to San Sebastián and took up the role of Head of Concierge at the renowned María Cristina Hotel. Her commitment to excellence earned her the prestigious Golden Keys Award, a testament to her unwavering dedication and professionalism. Currently Edurne is still part of the Golden Keys professional concierge association.
In addition to her work in the hotel industry, she has worked as a travel planner and guide in San Sebastián and its surrounding area through the company Basque Tours & Events. With an innate knack for customer service and detail, she has skillfully guided visitors through the city’s hidden gems, cultural landmarks, and culinary delights – ensuring they leave with unforgettable memories.
Edurne is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Basque and is currently studying Mandarin Chinese, fascinated by the intricacies of the language and the vast culture it represents.
With her extensive experience in tourism, an impeccable service record, and her linguistic skill, Edurne is a trusted professional who embodies the essence of hospitality.
