Le Guide is a digital guide launched in 2023 that showcases different brands and projects meant to bring consumers a thorough and exclusive selection of fashion, beauty, and traditional handicraft brands that champion sustainable luxury. In short, it is a space where local clothing brands, conscious cosmetics brands looking to connect with femininity through natural processes, and traditional craft and art projects all come together.
Elena Guibert and Nerea Calvo are the guide’s founders, two Basque entrepreneurs undertaking their professional careers in the fields of communication and fashion with experience at renowned companies and institutions like the Cristóbal Balenciaga Foundation, Hermès, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Indi & Cold.
After founding their own boutique communications agency in Madrid (called Amàro Studio), Guibert and Calvo wanted to take their work one step further with the creation of Le Guide, using their new platform to project all the knowledge and experience they had acquired throughout their respective careers. The result? A guide with editorial content that stands out for its styling, creative direction, and photography.
In addition to its online presence, Le Guide organizes happenings (multidisciplinary artistic get-togethers) and art exhibitions in collaboration with luxury hotels. They thus manage to create experiences in which locals and tourists intermix, providing them with the opportunity to participate in workshops and discover quality sustainable brands.
One of their latest events took place at the Nobu Hotel of San Sebastián; an interesting meeting whose central themes included art, fashion, and cosmetics and in which guests were able to meet Spanish creators from different disciplines in person.
