
On January 18th, the tenth anniversary of Basque Luxury Magazine was celebrated at the Arriluce Palace in Getxo. This annual guide promotes the highlights of fashion, activities, gastronomy, wellness, sports, hospitality, culture and business in the Basque Country. The place chosen for the presentation, which brings together businessmen and institutional representatives, is no coincidence: it is one of the last five-star luxury hotels opened in the Basque Country.
This year’s event was particularly relevant, as 2025 marks the tenth anniversary of Basque Luxury and its publication Basque Luxury Magazine. To commemorate this important date, the magazine has counted with luxury collaborating firms: actor Andrew Garfield, Athletic Club players Iñaki and Nico Williams, chef Paulo Airaudo, and Robert Treviño, director of Euskadiko Orkestra.

Gastronomy being one of the fundamental axes of the wealth of the Basque Country, the magazine includes an exclusive interview with Joxe Mari Aizega, general director of the Basque Culinary Center, to analyze the expansion of the university of gastronomic sciences, which will open its new campuses in San Sebastian, Laguardia and Vitoria-Gasteiz in the coming months.
The event, which was attended by the Provincial Deputy of the Department of Transport, Mobility and Tourism of Bizkaia, Sonia Pérez Ezquerra, took stock of the 10 years of Basque Luxury, which has not only become the company that encompasses the luxury and premium brands of the Basque Country, but, in parallel to the tourism development experienced in Euskadi in the last decade, has been incorporating new departments and services to offer locals and visitors new ways to enjoy the territory: a fleet of luxury chauffeur-driven vehicles, private jet and helicopter flight service, as well as a private concierge service.
