Villa Soro is completely remodeled and opens a wellbeing center with treatment rooms
The Villa Soro Hotel in San Sebastián has recently been acquired by the Soldevila Ferrer family, a long-standing family in the hotel industry with a presence in Barcelona and Mallorca. Villa Soro is the third establishment in a portfolio of renowned, five-star accommodation options as special as Can Ferrereta, named by National Geographic as one of the best boutique hotels in the world, and Sant Francesc, a unique hotel located in the heart of Palma de Mallorca and recently recognized by the prestigious international publication Condé Nast Traveler as the best hotel in Spain (2021 Readers’ Choice Awards).
A significant investment has been made in improvements, undertaking a building remodel and improving all rooms and common areas while keeping the villa’s history intact – a history which dates back to the nineteenth century.
In the stables building, the rooms have been renovated and private gardened terraces with outdoor furniture have been added to the units on the ground floor. In the main villa, both the bedrooms and bathrooms have been remodeled and work has likewise been done on the terraces. Additionally, the hotel is debuting a gym and wellbeing center with two treatment rooms.
The famous Villa Soro garden –designed by Pierre Ducasse, the gardener of the Spanish Royal Family– has also been given new life, with more plants and trees being added. Thanks to all of this, Villa Soro has rung in 2022 with a totally new appearance.
